The EDP (Electronic Data Processing) department’s main role is
to share the data through the electronic medium with safe and secured manner.
The department is headed by the information system manager and few of the
computer assistant cum operators.
G.S.R cottage industries, is making use of the Enterprises Resource planning (ERP) software for integrating their business process. Hence all the business and production units are like through satellite based internet connection for the purpose of data integration and sharing between the units.
The role of ERP department is listed below
